The long way home!
Visit the high school and understanding how the Portuguese educational works. Participating in the meeting lead by the improvement commission and interview with the director and the responsible of infrastructure. Visit the practicum working place and meeting the responsible and coordinator of the Erasmus plus program. Presentation of my high school and the Spanish system of education comparing the main problems both system face nowadays: inclusion, student’s motivation, and behavior. Participating in the topic of sustainability during the English lessons planned by the host school. Active monitorization of the lessons taught in Portuguese and English. Organizing further mobilities with the host school.
Meeting the leading team of the school and understanding the main function each person has within the system. Visit the most emblematic sights of the region and understand better the culture of the country. Problem solving activities of how to educate our students into sustainability and respect towards each other.
The most interesting class today was the entrepreneurship class, where the students presented their final product, a teaser of a company they have created. As digital tools they used : Canva , Bensound and Pexels, and the result was stunning!
I have also attended the improvement commission of the centre and the director of the school explained how things work there and as a conclusion I can say that both systems work more or less in the same way.
I have participated in the grand opening of a locla muesum. Here the school’s children have presented their work and I have discovered the art app called Artivive.
Regarding outside activities, I have participated to an evirnomental-sensible-student activity. Here the students had to clean the local beach and claculate the amount of rubbish found on the beach. Finally we played games before going back to attend the afternoon lessons.
On the last day I have watched the 13th folclore exibition there.
THANKS TO THIS PROGRAM I WAS ABLE TO DO THESE THINGS!!!
